Alpha Kappa Psi is an organization of leaders in all fields of business at the University of Minnesota. It is has been the goal of the organization since its founding over a century ago in New York to build better business leaders. Today, it is the largest and oldest professional business fraternity in the world, and our motto is still the same: Shaping People, Shaping Business.

We are known for our involvement across campus and our success academically and after graduation in all industries. Here are just a few of the many companies our members worked for in the past year: Target, Best Buy, Medtronic, General Mills, McKinsey &Co., Deloitte & Touche, Deloitte Consulting, Ernst and Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Ameriprise, 3M, Accenture, UnitedHealth Group, Carlson Companies, Wells Fargo, Honeywell, and many more.

Professional development, community service, academic success, and social engagement are the four tools AKPsi uses to shape people that pledge our organization and become members. They enter the real world with countless connections and a better skill set than their peers.

Pledging Alpha Kappa Psi is a semester-long process that occurs twice a year, which challenges those that apply and are deemed qualified to expand their abilities in all four areas of concentration. Many members of Alpha Kappa Psi will tell you this was the best semester of their collegiate career.
